Vlase Nikoleski first came to prominence in Australia in the early seventies with a series of modernist sculptures which were marked by a rigorous abstract purity. From the earliest monolithic classical modernism to the more recent , complex landscape installations, his work has always been characterised by elegant simplicity of form and complete control of technical means.
